Principal Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent or contract basis.  You will work at the head office based in the Bedfordshire area, where site presence is required 4 days per week.

The Role:

Principal Systems Engineer is a role engaged in the development of next generation Electronic Warfare/Radar Systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and derive project requirements
• Define and implement project requirements management and DOORS implementation plans.
• Maintain configuration of the DOORS project.
• Support the creation and segmentation of systems requirements and allocation to sub-systems.
• Manage the collation of verification evidence, producing verification and compliance documentation.
• Manage the flow of requirements from system level to sub-sytem level ensuring traceability of system requirements.  

The Person

• Experience of requirements management planning.
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools, Cameo Systems Modeller or MATLAB.
• Familiar with Radio Frequency (RF) system design and operation.
• Previous experience liaising with Engineer across disciplines.
• Ability to collect verification evidence and supporting data, collating against verification matrix for compliance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• MUST either hold current SC or be eligible to gain security clearance (5yrs UK residence).
